The Spritworks Boiler has had a major improvement for better power control. We have now added a function on the boiler to be able to control the power when distilling from 0-100%. This means you have much better control when using the T500 Condenser The Alembic Dome plus any other Columns to achieve a cleaner distillation.

Filtration and Flavouring with the Air Still
Just about to start my fist batch a great detailed explanation
Thought this was a easy how to, looks like your selling your soul , adding bullish...t good luck
You are bonkers does a fake tan help the final product truly love you
what should be the S.G. be in the wine for a 75cl champagne bottle prior to corking to make a homemade champagne. I usually prime a bottle with 2 teaspoons of sugar. But I had some wine left over from a gallon demi-john and I have put it in a champagne bottle the S.G. is 1000, is this to high and is it dangerous to bottle with that S.G. hope you can help. P.S. I miss your shop in Liverpool. kind regards jimmy jones
Thankyou, I think the first 50-100 ml are foreshots followed by heads then hearts, tails and feints the foreshots is acetone so definitely not drinkable
the one thing that you did not mention unless I missed it was the cleaning of the airstill?
Water coming out of the collection tube when turning on the water supply ?? Help
Fish tank heater never thought of it Ty
I personally use the waste Hot water coming out of the still to sterilise all my bottles and then leave them filled up with the hot water in them and caps on until I need them 😉
Thank you for your intro into the electric still. Your intro was easy to understand. Cheers from Australia.
Honestly you need a heater pad and a brew belt on constantly for at least 6 days ... at least... the more heat the better in my experience. Its 2 quid in electric so you're not breaking thr bank if both devices are 25 watt
Excellent.
Absolutely brilliant description and presentation. Well done
Look up ray Martin a famous tv host from australia, must be your twin brother
Lovely thanks Richard
really good video - I have the Air Still Pro, so is this a reflux or a pot run?
But wht about the foreshots and heads?
G'day mate 🇦🇺🍺🍺🍺🍺you are a great teacher, I'm learning a lot of you and your videos, fantastic
I had the inline version. The result was very good so with that in mind I can recommend it. However, it's made of porous and brittle plastic so when I changed the carbon filter it only took a light tightening of the plastic wheel nut to break the shaft that goes through the carbon filter. I seriously doubt that it's possible to repair it reliably. The container in which the carbon filter sits, is of good quality plastic, though, so I give it 10 points for filtering results 2 points for build quality
10 years on, still the best tutorial on here 👏👏👏
what are the reason your whiskey contains more methyl alcohol in it and is there any method make whiskey mithail free
Why not use the empty column to put your Juniper berries in, and the gin basket for the other botanicals?
Thank you for explaining the use of this siphon.
Sorry mate, tried it number of times. 6h for 40% 1.2l is overstatment. Have 2 of those so called filters, doesn't take more than 3hr. Only what I loose is ABV(40% before, 38% after) aftertaste/wonky smell still in place. Waste of money. Better to distill 2nd time.
Is the Liverpool store going to reopen
Is it possible to add more sight glasses to the column.
Can you make wash in this or do I need to make it separately and add it for fermentation
Looks a bit wobbly, is the lid up to it?
How much more effective is this at producing clean alcohol compared to the t500 with a copper column
Hi Richard. Does the column fit the t500 boiler? Or does the new boiler fit the old t500 head ?
Are you reopening the Liverpool store anytime
I just have a question When you put your mash in and distill it do you just drink it or do you have to run heads off?
Looks like a great product well done Richard and the LB team 👍
I’ve got one of these, it’s been great over the last few years
Does this fit the t500 column
I don’t know if that condenser is big enough, but that dome looks great.
For 63 dollars U.S. you can get a Samaritan heater or aquarium heater that does 80 to 130 gal perfect temperature
Chemie plus Chemie plus noch etwas Chemie und für den Geschmack.... richtig noch mal Chemie. Na super 🥴
Does this capper do Sparkling wine bottles
YOU DIDNT THROW OUT YOUR HEADS? YOUR GONNA POISON PEOPLE . Throw away 100ml per gallon of your homebrew folks, your drinking methanol, acetone, and other unkind chemicals.
2nd rubber is a pig. I used a pair of long nose pliers kind of in reverse, to stretch it over the threaded part.
Need to cut the music in the background as it's a distraction.
What do you do when the airlock bubbles are all bad
Gday Richard, should you leave spirit or water in the tube between runs so the carbon stays moist. How many litres does the carbon do before changing? Cheers
For nuts that won’t start …go counterclockwise until it clicks then tighten it up
Well said and instructed.
Just Put the sugar in the wort bro!
Is there a chance that you break the bottle?
Hi. F$#@#@ completely LOST--IM only looking for a great water distiller to get high quality drinking water--does this do that?----what is all the talk of essential oils and alcohol?--Is this too much for just quality drinking water?---thanks
Really miss Yr Chesterfield shop.
Please tell me, now that I'm living in the USA (Idaho), and I've purchased a replacement still (another T500 for 120V), I'm unable to get the Peat Smoke and Single Whisky here - and nobody wants to ship any to me?
